The declarations collected at the end of the return match of the Final of CEV Cup 2017, played tonight at Salle Robert Grenon by Tours Vb and Trentino Diatec.

Filippo Lanza: “We expected such a hard match. We don’t really have any excuse. Tours played better and deserved to win this Cup. It’s a pity.”

Massimo Colaci: “We fought tonight but not in the right way from a technical and tactical point of view. Our team has always shown a right attitude but tonight it didn’t. We must accept this result but it is still a pity not to have won the Cup”.

Simone Giannelli: “I’m very sorry, we had the opportunity to win this trophy but we didn’t manage to make the dream come true. Tours played better than us and deserved to win. Now we have to focus all our energies on the match of Wednesday in Perugia to immediately restart for the semi-finals of Play Off Scudetto”.
