Carlo De Angelis, a new young player for Trentino Volley

Since the last nine seasons the squad of Trentino Volley has always received at least one product of the Yellow-blues Youth Sector during the highest debut in the maximum National Championship. The tradition will continue during the 2015/16 season: Carlo De Angelis will in fact wear the Champions of Italy T-shirt starting from next season in Superlega, after completing the entire bureaucratic procedures.
De Angelis, nineteen years old and 190 cm in height, was part of the golden boys group, class 1996, that between 2010 and 2015 won eight national youth titles between Under-14 and Under-19, coached by Francesco Conci. Coming into the first team, he will try to trace the path already covered in recent years by Simone Giannelli and Titian Mazzone (already his teammates in Under-19, twice tricolor in 2014) and even before the various Filippo Lanza and Gabriele Nelli, proposing in perspective as a potential alternatively the regular Massimo Colaci.
He is a player with outstanding quality as a receiver, thanks also to the beach volleyball (discipline in which he became Italian champion juvenile in 2013); in late october for De Angelis will be the seventh season with Trentino Volley (arrived from Lazio in 2009); the last two seasons he played in Serie B1 with the Under-19.
"I realize my dream” - revealed Carlo De Angelis -. “I moved from Lazio to Trentino when I was thirteen years old with the goal, one day, to get to play in the first team and finally the time has come today. I'm obviously very happy because I will have the opportunity to train with great champions and improve in every way. In front of me I will have an example as Colaci, one of the strongest libero in Italy and Europe, and will try to make the most of every advice, every workout to grow. Then I’m also very lucky because in the team there are players that I already had as teammates in the youths: for example Nelli, Mazzone and especially Giannelli, with whom I often shared the room away. I thank the Society for the important opportunity that is giving me.”
