Trento, February 28th 2017

After conquering the second place in regular season of SuperLega UnipolSai 2016/17, Trentino Diatec gets immediately back on court, in this case, for an international appointment. Tomorrow evening, on Wednesday March 1st, at PalaBanca of Piacenza the team will play the away match of the Italian derby of 2017 CEV Cup’s quarter finals. After having defeated Loimaa in the sixteenth finals and Sastamala in the eight finals, the Yellow-blue will play against Lpr in the double round of matches of the European competition. The match will begin at 8.30 p.m.: live on Radio Dolomiti.
HERE TRENTINO DIATEC The match in Emilia will kick off March, a month very crucial for the formation of Lorenzetti. The team will play in two weeks the access to the semifinals of the last two Championships in which it’s taking part.  The matches against Piacenza will be surely the most difficult of this period of time,  because of the opponent’s merit ( it closed the regular season with six points more than Monza) and  also because the qualification mechanism to the next round of CEV Cup allows less margin of error.
We know that is going to be a difficult match because Piacenza is getting ready since a long time for this appointment, also making precise choices for the challenge – said the coach Angelo Lorenzetti about the match– . We  don’t consider ourselves better than the opponent On the contrary, we want to get on court as humble people and above all with enthusiasm because it’s an important occasion for us and we want to play a tour best”.
All the fourteen players are available for the Coach of Trentino Diatec and will train as usual the day before the match and  by  CEV regulation it can be done at PalaBanca.
700^ OFFICIAL MATCH OF  TRENTINO VOLLEY The match against Piacenza will be an historic event for Trentino Volley, no matter the result; the Club already four times World and Italian Champion and three times European Champion will play its 700th official match in this occasion. The Club in via Trener has won 490 out of 699 played matches: 252 at  PalaTrento, 238 away matches.
