Victory and supremacy! ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino made the most of the opportunity, that was offered by the big match of the 24th round of Super League regular season UnipolSai, winning 3-1 against Parmareggio Modena at PalaPanini, therefore losing their winning streak of eleven wins this season, and allowing Stoytchev’s team to reach, once again, superiority in the ranking, with only two games left,  and two point lead on the first pursuer. In front of over 5,000 spectators (of which 200 fans from Trentino made a good impression), the yellow-blue allows the Trentino Volley to achieve real  successful opportunities in the regular season (and a chance for the CEV Champions League); to do that without having to wait for the results of direct competitors (Modena precisely, but Treia as well) Birarelli and teammates, however, must win six points which are still available in the challenges against Monza (on April 1st, at PalaTrento) and Piacenza (away on Easter Sunday).
ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino has earned this valuable but significant advantage crafting another epic proof, full of heart and determination, qualities that have been recognized  by its supporters through this league. The yellow-blues started the match with a great approach; at the beginning, they scored 2-0 becoming the major protagonists in the field thanks to the block (scored 10 times in the first two sets) and thanks to the great player Kaziyski (the MVP end with 19 points, including three blocks, an ace and 58% at the net). Then the team managed to gain an advantage over Modena. After a sharp win of the third set, the Parmareggio approached the tie break flying up to 17-20, but didn't calculate yet the character of Trentino, which passed for Kaziyski’ service and Lanza’s attacks (18 points with 62%, an ace and two blocks): with these results, Stoytchev’s team was able to score an incredible partial of 4-9 and to end up the match scoring 3-1 at 26-24. With these results are some actions to underline: the excellent performance of Colaci at the second line (75% in reception and many defenses), the substance of Birarelli in the first half and Solé for the blocks (5 blocks winning in the return), the clear direction of Zygadlo and the positive entrance of the young Giannelli and Nelli, who weren’t afraid at the final of the match.
