Trento, January 9th, 2016

A weekend without training in the gym - for once with a couple of days off - to prepare the first tour de Force of 2016. Last Friday in PalaTrento Diatec Trentino concluded the new year’s last week without official match, and from Thursday is going to experience a second part of January full of official competitions. Over the last seventeen days of the month, the Italian champions will play six matches, divided equally between matches played in PalaTrento and away games (one of them in Belgium).
All matches, among other things, will have a significant importance to allow Trentino Volley to take part of three events: the first match will be played on Thursday 14th, between friendly walls against Molfetta for the game that awards the qualification to the Final Four Del Monte® Italian Cup 2016 (scheduled later on February 6th/7th at the Assago Forum), then in quick succession on the calendar are the trip to Padova (the first of the second round of Super League, on January 17th), the last home match of the first phase of the CEV Champions League against Thessaloniki (on January 19th), the big match of the fourteenth round of the regular season against Perugia in PalaTrento (on January 23th), the trip to Maaseik three days later (crucial to maintain the top spot in Pool C of the Main Phase) and finally the commitment at the PalaBanca of Piacenza, scheduled for the last day of the month.
The goal of the training of Radostin Stoytchev is obviously to collect results that keep intact the victory’s ambitions in every single tournament; the team will return to work on Monday morning; Georgi Bratoev and Simon Van de Voorde are going to return to Trento in the coming hours, and will be then available to train with the team.
