#WEinValsugana will be the official hashtag for the retreat of three days in Valsugana

The Valsugana is ready to live a weekend of great volleyball with Trentino Volley. For three days - from Friday September 2nd to Sunday September 4th - one of the most known valleys of the Province of Trento will host Diatec Trentino, which has chosen Levico Terme (where it will stay in one of the most prestigious hotels of the area) and Borgo Valsugana (where it will train at the Palazzetto dello Sport in via Gozzer) to carry out a weekend-retreat with almost the whole team. Thanks to the group arrival of the Italian team’s players Giannelli, Lanza, Colaci and Antonov and of the Argentinian Solé (everyone back from Rio 2016), the team will show up in Valsugana with 13 of the 14 strengths of its new team. Trainer Angelo Lorenzetti will have to do without the Belgian middle blocker Simon Van de Voorde (who is busy with the national team) and he can use these three days of training to better know the potential features of play of the team, which has been made available to him by the Club management of Trento for the season 2016/17. The programme for this weekend-retreat plans one training session every day each lasting little more than 2 hours, but also other events all planned for Saturday September 3rd such as the photo shooting on Lake Levico in the morning and the greeting to the community of the Valsugana at the Palasport in Borgo about 7.30 p.m.. “The weekend in Valsugana will be the opportunity to find even greater confidence with the team and the staff in a location different from the PalaTrento, where we will train everyday; so, that’s why I’m particularly pleased to know that the Club and the operators in the area have accepted my request organizing this weekend-retreat. I objectively find it very important – these are the words of Diatec trentino trainer Angelo Lorenzetti -. I’m familiar with the facility in Borgo Valsugana: when I was trainer of the Youth Italian National teams, I often chose it to do some summer retreats and I’m pleased we can use it even in this occasion”. “I welcome very positively the fact that Trentino Volley has found in Valsugana the venue of its weekend-retreat – declared Stefano Ravelli, President of APT Valsugana who has taken care of every single aspect of the organization of the event together with the municipality of Borgo Valsugana e Valsugana Sport -. And this proves that our valley has facilities of the highest standard, such as the palazzetto dello sport, and at the same time it is a proof of the proximity to the town of Trento. This feeling is also confirmed by the rediscovery of the people of Trentino for the promenades, the lakes and other activities that we organize on each occasion in the summer”. At the end of every training session (always free entry) the players and the technical staff will be at the disposal of the press for the interviews, but above all they will be at the supporters’ disposal for photos and autographs.
