2017 edition of Del Monte® Coppa Italia officially starts on December Wednesday 14th. All matches of first knock-off round will be played simultaneously from 8.30 p.m.: in the first phase of the table, in which the best qualified team will have home advantage, there are only knock-out matches. It will end in the weekend of 28th and 29th January 2017 with the Final Four that will take place at Unipol Arena in Bologna. Diatec Trentino has placed itself 2nd by the end of the first half of regular season SuperLega UnipolSai 2016/17, so that it will be one of the four teams (the other are Civitanova, Modena and Perugia) that are already qualified for the quarter-finals and that, as a consequence, will not take part in tomorrow’s match. The team from Trento will be interested in watching the challenges scheduled for the first day of this competition and in particular the match Gi Group Monza-Bunge Ravenna. Infact, the winner will play against the yellow-blue team on January Wednesday 11th at PalaTrento, in a match that will grant the qualification for the semi-finals. Meanwhile, PalaOlimpia will host Biosì Indexa Sora, next opponent of Trento in SuperLega: after the match the team from Sora will travel to Trento and it will face its team on Friday evening.
