Oleg Antonov best scorer of the Diatec Trentino with 11 points

In the last test before the debut in SuperLega UnipolSai 2016/17 Diatec Trentino wins against Kioene Padova. At PalaTrento the team of Angelo Lorenzetti won the unofficial friendly-match played late in the afternoon defeating the Venetian team for 3-0 with a strongly convincing performance.
In view of the first match of championship on Sunday evening against Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia, the new trainer of Trentino Volley could appreciate the rediscovered accuracy of the service (8 aces in three sets, with a great performance of Urnaut) and the efficiency of the attack (57% for the team), with great balls set by Giannelli. Among the single players, the return at PalaTrento of Van de Voorde has been brilliant, perfect in attack (100% out of 5 attacks) and useful also for the block, although he didn’t collect points in this fundamental. In attack also Antonov (55%), Lanza (56%) and Daniele Mazzone, who in the first and second set did everything right (2 blocks, 1 ace and 67% in attack). After the official 3-0, the teams played other two training sets, in which Lorenzetti could verify the good shape of the players who didn’t play enough in the last few weeks, i.e. Tiziano Mazzone, Burgsthaler, Blasi, Chiappa and Nelli without losing sight of the result (25-15 and 15-11).
