Diatec Trentino rules the third match of the semifinal of the Play Off: victory in four sets against Perugia

Diatec Trentino has the advantage in the series of the semi-finals of Play Off Scudetto 2017 and now the qualification to the final is closer: the team needs only a victory. Tonight PalaTrento was amazing, with the team’s colours and a lot of support and, in front of its supporters, the yellow-blue team stopped Sir Safety Conad Perugia, going to 2-1 in the series and in ten days, it will play the first match ball in Umbria. Tonight’s match was similar to the one of the third match, played at PalaTrento. Like on March 19th, Angelo Lorenzetti’s team proved to be more cynical than the rivals in the crucial moments of the match and it has never gave up. This way it could perform a comeback in the first two sets, after being 18-21 in the first one and 19-22 in the second one. Diatec Trentino won with the heart and a great performance with Lanza (mvp with 15 points, 1 block and 2 aces) and Van de Voorde (89% in the first set, 4 blocks and an ace) and didn’t give up in the fourth set, after the third one won by Perugia. In order to win, important players were Giannelli, Colaci and Urnaut, with services and attacks able to cause difficulty to the other team.
