Trento, October 4th 2017
Angelo Lorenzetti has waited almost fifty days of preparation, but starting from the friendly test match in Bolzano of this evening versus VfB Friedrichshafen he will now have the whole team at his disposal. In the early afternoon of today the Canadian spiker Nicholas Hoag in fact finally arrived in Trento, the last player to end the summer work with his National Team.
Just three days before the conclusion of Campionato Norceca 2017, which yielded him the bronze medal and the qualification to the World Cup 2018, the spiker bought from Milano is now ready to start his adventure with Trentino Volley. Tonight at PalaResia he will be on the bench without obviously being active on the field (he is coming from a trip lasted more than 20 hours) but in the meanwhile he will be given the chance to acclimatize to the changing room and the group.
“I’ve been waiting this moment since the start of the summer – explained Hoag - ; I’m looking forward to train in the gym at an high level of playing and to live a great season. I want to win the championship and to help the team to give it everything in every single competition that we will play into. I’m coming from a very positive period with the Canadian National Team because we gained the bronze medal in the World League and recently the qualification to the World Cup 2018 as well. I can start training right away; I’m feeling well and I don’t have physical troubles. I’m ready to start”
