After the away game against Piacenza – first match of regular season 2016/17 without collecting points – Diatec Trentino restarted the training session at PalaTrento this afternoon in view of the top match on Sunday evening at PalaPanini of Modena. The away match against the Italian champion Azimut, which comes from two defeats in a row and therefore dropped to the third place in the ranking list, will give the team of Lorenzetti an opportunity of redeeming itself and trying to forget both the defeat against LPR and that of the first match of the season at PalaPanini (semi-final of Del Monte^® Supercoppa 2016). There will be an arena full of spectators waiting for Diatec Trentino; the “sold out” was announced few days ago, but Lanza and his team-mates won’t find this venue unusual. On Sunday, Diatec Trentino will play its fifth match of the year 2016 at PalaPanini against Modena; the Yellow-blues has won two matches and they haven’t lost against Modena for three years in regular season. The last home victory in regular season of Azimut dates back to 12^th January 2013; after that victory it has lost three times against Diatec Trentino: 3-0 on 27^th November 2013, 3-1 on 21^st March 2015, 3-1 on 11 February 2016.
