www.trentinovolley.it/english, the English version of the website of Trentino Volley celebrates its second year of activity. 731 days ago, on 4th February 2015, the Italian sport club that more than any other team in Italy has managed to affirm itself internationally, collecting victories not only on European fields but also all over the world, launched a version of its website in the most widely spoken language in the world. Not only does Diatec Trentino translate news for its supporters, but it also offer them a whole English portal. The project, realized in partnership with Kumbe srl in Tione (technology partner of Trentino Volley since 2013 – www.kumbe.it) has been further developed since last August thanks to the collaboration with Isit (Istituto Accademico per Interpreti e Traduttori – University for Interpreters and Translators) that day by day provides translations of all news thanks to a staff made up of seven students, who have attended this university for at least the first two years and who are constantly monitored by a tutor. The partnership proved to be successful as almost 20% of users that clicks on www.trentinovolley.it decides to visit its English version; International users mainly come from countries with a strong passion for volleyball, such as Brazil, Poland, Russia, Bulgaria, USA, Germany. Among the most visited web pages: those that provide the list of official appointments of Trentino Volley in the current season (www.trentinovolley.it/date), the training program (www.trentinovolley.it/allenamenti), or those that explain how to get to PalaTrento, showing the growing number of people that decide to visit Trento also thanks to this sport. News are also posted on the main yellow-blue social networks (Facebook and Twitter), in order to provide increasingly global information on these extremely popular platforms (they count almost 100’000 followers). The great strength of www.trentinovolley.it/english is the accuracy of the news available online: in the first two years of its online experience Trentino Volley published over 974 news. More than one per day.
