The Curva Gislimberti at PalaTrento Hall

Trento, March 14th 2016
It has began today, with the return to the city of Diatec Trentino in the late afternoon, a particularly important week for the Italian champions. The negative result gained on Sunday evening in Puglia in Game 2 of the playoffs Championship UnipolSai 2016’s quarterfinals has allowed Exprivia Molfetta to even score in the series, greatly complicating at the same time the path of Stoytchev’s team, which will have to return to the province of Bari on March 27th for the Game 4.
Within 72 hours, between March 17th and 19th, the tricolor will play two important home games in PalaTrento: it will begin on Thursday at 8.30 pm against the Russians of Belgorod Belogorie the round of Playoffs 6 of 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League and then continue on Saturday night, again at 8.30 pm with Game 3 of the quarter-finals again against Molfetta. The next day, on Sunday 20th, the team will leave for Russia for the second leg at the house of Belgorod.
In the European match Matey Kaziyski can’t be used (he was rationed when the lists of the CEV were already closed); more so Stoytchev hopes to receive good news from the medical staff who in recent weeks has had to work hard with Djuric and Lanza, but also with De Angelis and Colaci. If the Apulian libero - regularly in the field in the last two races despite having not played previously any training with the group - the possibilities to see him in the starting six are high, for the three other players becomes difficult to imagine a continuous use during this challenge. The doubts will be dissolved only on the very eve, but the Bulgarian coach has admitted already in the post-match Molfetta that to succeed in obtaining a positive result in both games, will not be enough just technical and tactical qualities, but also the even more important support from the public.
In this regard Trentino Volley remembers that both Trentino Diatec vs. Belogorie Belgorod on Thursday, March 17th and Diatec Trentino vs. Exprivia Molfetta on Saturday 19th are matches not included to season tickets holders. The 2015/16 season ticket holders will have time, however, until Tuesday evening to exercise the right of priority seating in Trento at the Trentino Volley Point in via Trener 2 and Promoevent in via Suffragio 10 or directly through the website www.vivaticket.it, exploiting the "right of priority seating” mode (click here to see the tutorial).
