Diatec Trentino was back in Trento this afternoon. After the five sets played on Wednesday evening in Kedzierzyn-Kozle, the yellow-blues travelled to Italy during the morning, they flew from Katowice to Bergamo and from Bergamo to Trento they took a coach. On Wednesday 22nd December the team will start the trainings again, that day they will do double session training (on Tuesday 26th there will be their next match at the PalaTrento against Monza at 6.15 p.m.)“In Poland we missed the opportunity to gain three points, that we probably deserved – said Eder Carbonera–. We started in a good way but our rate fell to early so we couldn’t close the match in three sets only. At this level we must continue to be under strain, as a matter of fact Zanska raised and we became nervous. During the first three sets Trentino Volley was very positive; we showed to be constantly increasing. I hope this defeat will be useful for our future because it was very difficult to accept it, especially if we think about the 22-19 we had in the third set”. Beyond the standstill, the match of Hala Azoty confirmed the perfect moment of the gold-green third place, at ease in the Trentino’s game system. “At the beginning of the season I was a bit worried because I wanted to play in the best possible way and this made me nervous- said Eder-. Now I feel more at ease; it was my problem, and it was essentially mental: I was under pressure because I wanted to play very well especially as regarded the service because the team counted a lot on this for their wins. As time went by, the difficulties decreased and now I’m happy doing what I do. From this point of view, the Italian championship is the best in the world because it allows me to face with a game that is much more competitive but I like the Champions League too because every team has its way of playing which makes direct reference to its own country of origin.” With a view to the match of the 26th December at PalaTrento, the gold-green affirms: “It will be a particular match for me because it’ll be the first time I’ve played the day after Christmas indeed in Brazil we don’t have matches during this period. A fortiori I want to win against Monza in order to create an immediate good memory of the event. It’ll be important to end the first round with a victory because, by doing that, we’ll probably succeed in catching up on the ranking even if we know that it won’t be easy. Compared with the beginning of the season Monza has found its own rhythm as shown by the last win over Ravenna”.
