Diatec Trentuno returned in Trento today in the early evening. Fresh from the dominated won match on the field of Hurrikaani Loimaa in the going match of the round of thirty-two of CEV Cup 2107, the yellow-blue team is in fact back in town after a very long journey. The team had to reach Helsinki by coach and to take two different flights (the first one to Frankfurt, the second one from Germany up to Verona), before traveling by coach on the A22 and arriving in Trento.
The resumption of training is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at PalaTrento when Angelo Lorenzetti will direct the only one preparatory session of the day for the home match versus LPR Piacenza; with the occasion will be again evaluated the physical conditions of Gabriele Nelli and Daniele Mazzone, who missed the first European trip of the season to cure their physical problems emerged during the last period-

“The home match on Sunday in front of our public versus Piacenza will give us an important double chance – continued the libero from Puglia – in fact we have the opportunity to confirm the good moment in SuperLega, trying to stay close to the first position in ranking, and at the same time to redeem the defeat of last going match versus Piacenza and to recover the points left in that occasion, which would be also very important. But we don't have to delude ourselves: it will be a difficult task for us, because Piacenza has the strength to get us in troubles even at PalaTrento. With this meeting will start a crucial week, taking into account that on Wednesday night we will play the quarterfinals of Coppa Italia in the home match versus Monza and then on Sunday we will be in Perugia. It seems paradoxical to say it, but January may already be a decisive month for our ambitions”.
