On sunday evening Simone Giannelli in the RTTR’s studios. The Diatec Trentino’s setter was the main guest of the weekly episode of “Domenica Sport”. The presence of the champion native of Alto Adige twisted the outline of the program and volleyball came to the fore. As Giannelli affirmed: ”It was hard at first but I’m deeply convinced that by working hard, as we are doing, we’ll recover and we’ll get back in the game. I’m young and personally I’ve never experienced such an unusual period in terms of results but I’m pretty sure that this situation could help the whole team get stronger. At the moment I appreciate Trentino Volley even more because what it has done during the last seasons makes me realize that in the Italian championship nothing can ever be taken for granted. Every finish line hides a long path and a lot of work and from now on we’ll do everything to rise in rank. The pool of the Champions League is definitely challenging and the other teams are very strong but so are we and we’ll try to prove it beginning with the first match since it is necessary to have a good start in our European experience. I’m very attached to Trentino Volley. I grew up with this Club starting from youth championships to Club World Cup so, try to win something with this team is a bigger incentive because I feel like I’m part of this family”.
Giannelli has also provided some information about the match against Latina: “At this point of the season every single match is important. We only have to believe, win and improve. This is what we want to do against Taiwan Excellence and I’m pretty confident because during the match against Perugia we were headed in the right direction”.
