Diatec Trentino is already back to work since this late afternoon in PalaTrento. The day after being defeated in Ravenna, the yellow-blues are back to work in the weights room in order to train and get prepared for the next match, that is to say the match in the home-field that will take place on Saturday, October 28th at 8.30pm, against Castellana Grotte (an early match that coincide with the 4th match of regular season). Diatec Trentino wants to find its confidence right back winning against the recently promoted team from Apulia, so putting the sour defeat they got in Romagna behind them.
“It would be very important for us to immediately have a reaction to be proud of, but I prefer not to say something like “we need to forget” because I honestly think that right now it is absolutely necessary to keep in mind everything the field taught us and to use it in order to improve ourselves.” said the setter Simone Giannelli “So, as far as it concerns the match against Castellana Grotte, we just want to redeem ourselves and consider that match a great possibility to demonstrate everybody that we understood everything Pala De André taught us. We already learned the hard way that in this SuperLega no match can be taken for granted. So with this in mind, we know that the match against Castellana will be demanding and that our opponents won't be afraid of making mistakes, but we need to be good at predicting their play and at being enthusiast, avoiding making a drama”.
“Our play in Ravenna demonstrated that we still have much to do if we want to play at the level for which we yearn” said Giannelli, “It was a bad night, but the 3-0 we got was a fair final score because Bunge played better than us, as hard as it is to admit it. We need to enhance the basis and accept our limits, in order to gradually go beyond them “.
In the view of the match of Saturday night against BBC, Diatec Trentino is going to train on Friday afternoon and on Saturday morning too.
