Fenerbahce e Trentino Diatec will face again on 1st April in Istanbul

Resumption of training already on today’s afternoon for Trentino Diatec. The day after the twentieth seasonal victory in a row, in the going match of the semi-finals of CEV Cup 2017, the yellow-blues started training again to prepare the return match, which will be played already on Saturday April 1st at 6 pm Italian time at Burhan Felek Voleybol Salonu in Istanbul (live broadcast on Radio Dolomiti and www.laola1.tv).
Trentino Volley will have to win at least two sets to achieve the qualification to the sixth European finals of its history. The technical staff scheduled a training session divided in two groups: cooling down and weights for the players who entered the field on Tuesday night, strengthening and technique and tactic in the field for all the others. Today’s training has been the last one before the departure for Turkey that is scheduled for Thursday morning and will see Lanza and teammates arriving at their destination at 6 pm (5 pm Italian time) after a trip in Pullman to Bergamo and the following direct flight to Istanbul.
It will be the third overall away match in Turkey for the Club of via Trener; last one was on November 6th 2013 in Izmir (victory by 3-0 in the match for the first phase of CEV Champions League). The first of all was on December 15th 2004, when the then Itas Diatec Trentino played in Ankara the return match of the round of sixteen of Coppa CEV and was defeating by 1-3 and so eliminated from the competition.
Angelo Lorenzetti will take with him the whole roster of fourteen players for this important match; also the spiker Antonov, who can’t now play because of a small muscle injury, will leave with the rest of the team to continue its recovery training with the medical and technical staff.
