The new setter of Trentino Volley Alessandro Blasi

After three and a half weeks of preparation, for  Diatec Trentino has come the moment to verify its condition of shape. The joined training with Calzedonia Verona will be an opportunity to do it, tomorrow afternoon, on Thursday September 1st , at PalaTrento from 17 o'clock (free entry).
This training with one of the few teams that during the last season was able to conquer the establishment in via Fersina is interesting for several reasons, even though both teams  will   have few elements.  In fact, nine players in total from the rosters will be absent because of the commitment with their national teams or because they are still resting after the Olympics Games in Rio: Antonov, Colaci, Giannelli, Lanza, Solè ( will be available from the next day) and  Van de Voorde for Trentino Volley; Kovacevic, Lecat and the ex Djuric and Ferreira for Verona.
Therefore in this occasion, the trainer Angelo Lorenzetti will have only nine elements: setters Blasi and Pizzini (from the youth sector), spikers Tiziano Mazzone and Urnaut, middle blockers Daniele Mazzone e Burgsthaler, opposites Nelli e Stokr and libero Chiappa. From Verona, the players with a higher profile who will be playing on the parquet at PalaTrento will be the setter Baranowicz, the middle blockers Anzani and Zingel  and the libero Giovi.
“ In this first period, our aim has always been to improve the physical condition but also the need to play volleyball and increase the rhythm of the technical and tactical training. The joined session with Verona will be an opportunity to address these aspects – Angelo Lorenzetti explained today - . We will take into consideration with the technical staff of Calzedonia whether we will play a real match or give preference to six against six exercises. Whatsoever training we will choose in this occasion will be anyway useful to improve”.
