Eurosuole Forum of Civitanova Marche confirms itself as a cursed stadium for Diatec Trentino. As already happened in five previous official matches versus Lube and in two recent circumstances in Supercoppa Italiana versus Perugia and Modena, the stadium of Macerata in fact repelled the attempt of siege of the yellow-blues; the home team won 3-0, overcoming Lorenzetti’s team in ranking and winning the remake of the Championship Final 2017. The verdict of the match in just three sets has never before been so strict for Trento, which fought very hard point-to-point versus its opponents, who has the merit of being more cynical and focused in the important moments of the match; this happened in particular in the final part of the second and third sets, won only at the advantages and after a long sequence of set balls in favour of the home team nullified by the yellow-blues. Among Lorenzetti’s team was positive the performance of captain Filippo Lanza (20 points with 62%, an ace and a block), well assisted by Hoag (11 points and 42%) and of a Giannelli as setter who tried to include Zingel and the two opposites Teppan/Vettori as well, who alternated during the match. Cucine Lube Civitanova counted on Sander (17 points, mvp of the match) and Sokolov (16), but often suffered Diatec Trentino which, at least in terms of teamplay, showed encouraging progresses towards the Adige derby of next Sunday at PalaTrento versus Verona.
