Trento, September 19th, 2015

This morning the Champions of Italy completed the third week of training for the season 2015/16. It was a session of about two and a half hours based on athletics and technique, performed at the gym Sanbapolis for the unavailability of PalaTrento. Less than forty days before the official debut (scheduled on Saturday, October 24th at Palapanini Modena against the hosts for the 2015 Italian Super Cup), the available players of the new squad  continue to be only four (De Angelis, Djuric, Daniele Mazzone and Nelli); anyways, the work of the Yellow-blues continues positively thanks to the collaboration of some "guests" athletes sent for replace qualitatively and numerically the squad (the Spanish Noda Blanco, the Bulgarian Georgiev, Seganov and Mechkarov and the Montenegrin Suljagic).
"We're really doing things right, with a series of workouts that are focus particularly on individual skills of the game“- says the Assistant Coach Dario Simoni, who in the end of  August began his second year as substitute for Stoytchev -. “Being few in this stage of the season can also be an advantage for those who are already here because you have time to take care of every single aspect, physical or technical, and learn more about the characteristics of everyone. I refer particularly to De Angelis and Mazzone, who I knew less than Djuric and Nelli: Carlo is a libero that starts already by a good level and he has much room for improvement ahead, while Daniela is a middle-blocker with great potential, with unshakeable jumps. The excellent pace that we are taking in each session, it is also due to those who are helping us in this special stage; to have players like Noda Blanco or Suljagic that put themselves to our service during the preparation, it is definitely a big advantage and we want to thank them for what they are doing”.
"In the coming weeks we will continue the program of work along the lines of the one already observed in these first twenty-one days”- continued Simoni -. “We will recover an additional regular thanks to Tiziano Mazzone, who will return to Trento, and we will propose  increasingly articulated workouts. In the meantime we will continue to follow the players involved with the Nationals through the web or television; during the last few weeks I have watched with particular attention to the World Cup in Japan and I’m happy to see our athletes in good condition. It’s amazing how Colaci manage to not go below certain levels of the game and have a really extraordinary continuity; also Lanza and Giannelli are doing great".
Trentino Volley will continue the training in the gym already on Monday morning, after enjoying a day and a half of rest to recover mental and physical energies. Today afternoon Stoytchev and the four available athletes will visit Menz & Gasser in Novaledo to attend the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the renowned yellow-blue sponsors.
