Everything is ready. After the end of Volley Market 2017, the confirmation of the staff and of the new roster and the formalization of the new calendar of regular season of SuperLega Unipolsai 2017/18, Trentino Volley can now start to work towards the new season, the eighteenth overall for the yellow-blue Club.
The meeting of Diatec Trentino with the already available players is scheduled for the second half of August (the real date will be confirmed in the next days); waiting for the first training sessions, the work at the offices in via Trener continues, coordinated by the General Manager Bruno Da Re. “In the last months we have rejuvenated our roster and our staff, maybe even more than we were expecting at the start, but as I always say you never know how the market is really going to be – explained the general manager from Trentino - . We think that we really have a good group now, with a precise logic, in particular by strengthening our service phase. For this and many other reasons I think that Trento will live another season of high level, fighting for the first place also in the championship that is starting in October. It will be an even more competitive and balanced SuperLega, because not only the top teams have been protagonists during the market period, but also the mid ranking teams. Latina, Verona, Piacenza, Milano, Monza and Vibo are now surely stronger and all of this will produce equilibrium for sure; the distance among the first four teams and other ones seems to me definitely less wide".
“The problem related to the calendar has never been, in my opinion, about the opponents we are facing, but about the very little time between one match and another – continued the General Manager - . We’ll play many matches in few months and for a Club like ours, which plays the Champions League, the pace will be very high and it is also for this reason that the preparation will start very soon, even with less available players. In the meantime the seasonal-tickets campaign “Al cuor non si comanda” continues with a good comparison from the supporters who, I’d like to remember, will have time until August 4th to confirm their seat occupied during last season”.
