After 3 years, Jan Stokr comes back to Trentino Volley

After three seasons of absence, Jan Štokr will wear again the jersey of Trentino Volley. The agreement to bring back to Trento the most successful opposite in the history of the Company of via Trener, has been signed in the last hours with the greatest satisfaction of both parties.
By signing the annual contract of the very strong Czech player, the company of via Trener scored the first major blow of the market greatly reinforcing the department of high ball strikers. Thanks to the return of Jan and the constant growth of Gabriele Nelli (already decisive in the second half of the season, often experienced as a starter), Trentino Volley will therefore have for the next championship a couple of absolute opposites, which will make more competitive the team and will further inflame the public.
In fact, some of the best memories of Trentino Volley are linked to the name of Stokr (including the treble Championship-World-Champions 2011) and nine of the sixteen titles on board. Physical player, but at the same time technical and very meticulous at work, back to Trento after the Russian Superleague double experience (of which he was also the best scorer) and last season lived in Korea in Suwon KEPCO. Just last Saturday he received the award as the best Czech player of the year, award he also won in 2012 during his first experience in Trento.

Starting from August Stokr will again be available to Stoytchev, the coach who led the final leap during the three seasons in PalaTrento lived together between 2010 and 2013, in which he scored 1,997 points (the fourth Trentino bomber ever) in 140 games.
