Just a few hours before Christmas, Trentino Volley gives its special supporters a beautiful gift. In fact, the sport club has just reached an agreement for the extension of Simone Giannelli’s contract: the greatest Italian volleyball player will wear the yellow-blue colours at least until June 30th 2020, continuing his extraordinary career with Diatec Trentino, the club that discovered him and, within a short period, launched him in the world of volleyball at a global level too. This is a fundamental news for the future of Trentino Volley after the extension of Angelo Lorenzetti’s contract a month ago who will be the coach of the team from Trento until 2019. We already have the basis to go on playing top quality seasons, as stated by the President Diego Mosna. “What we have reached with Simone is an agreement that makes me look optimistically to the future of this sport club, because Giannelli is a unique volleyball players of its kind, not only for its technical qualities but also for the human ones – explained main director of Trentino Volley -. In a few years’ time he has become the symbol of this club and of the work we do every day with the youth sector, as Giannelli grew up in our team. We couldn’t receive a better news than this now that Christmas is closer; this is the present we wanted for our supporters.
