Diatec Trentino celebrates the victory against Monza

Thanks to the qualification obtained this night in the match with Monza in the unique of the quarter finals, Diatec Trentino has gained the access to the Final Four of Coppa Italia for the 9th season in a row.
The match which will played January Saturday 27th (place yet to define) versus Perugia, will be the 11th semifinal of the highest national trophy in 18 years of Trentino Volley history. This goal has already been made in 2001/02 season, when Trento defeated Montichiari during the quarters for 3-2 in Forlì (January 30th 2002), in 2005/06 season, when on January 26th 2006 the yellow-blues defeated Macerata for 3-1 then Italian champion, in 2009/10 thanks to the 3-0 versus Perugia on January 30th 2010, in 2010/11 with a 3-0 versus Monza on January 19th 2011, in 2011/12 thanks to the 3-0 versus Vibo Valentia last January 25th, in 2012/13 thanks to the 3-1 versus Perugia on December 26th 2012, in 2013/14 thanks to the 3-1 versus Modena on January 29th 2014, in 2014/15 thanks to 3-2 versus Piacenza on January 6th 2015, in 2016 two times versus Molfetta (victory for 3-0 in Apulia on December 22nd 2015 and defeat for 2-3 at PalaTrento on January 14th 2016) and in 2017, versus Monza once more (January 11th).
The hunt for the 4th national trophy, which was gained in Assago on December 30th 2012 but earlier also in Rome on February 19th 2012 and in Montecatini Terme on January 31st  2010, will continue for the team of Angelo Lorenzetti.
