Four Trentino Volley players for Italian National Team: Lanza, Giannelli, Antonov and Colaci

It officially kicks off tomorrow, on Friday, October 9th, 2015 the European Men's Volleyball which this year will take place in Bulgaria and Italy. For nine days (the final will be played in Sofia on October 18th) sixteen national and two hundred and twenty athletes will battle in the hunt of the Continental title, held by Russia.
Among them there are also seven players of Trentino Volley Champion Italy: Oleg Antonov, Massimo Colaci, Simone Giannelli and Filippo Lanza with Italy; Georgi Bratoev with Bulgaria; Simon Van de Voorde with Belgium and Tine Urnaut with Slovenia. The first three are also the only yellow-blue debuting in the National continental tournament, considering that the other four have already played at least another edition, without winning though.
In the first stage the Blues will play at home (in Turin), placed in Pool B with Croatia, France and Estonia against which they will debuts on Friday night at 9 pm. The other three players from Trentino will be in action in Bulgaria: in Sofia Bratoev in Pool A, they will face Germany, the Netherlands and Czech Republic while in Varna, Urnaut and Van de Voorde will play in Pool C, that also includes Belarus and Poland. The derby between the two new athletes that Trentino Volley has taken from Latina, will be played on October 11st, during the last day of the first phase.
The playoffs will be played in Sofia and Busto Arsizio, and they will qualify the top three teams in each group; the first one will access directly to the quarterfinals, while the second and third will play the fourth round, where they will challenge respectively a third and a second of another group. Semifinals and final matches will be played at the Armeec Arena in Sofia between October 17th and 18th.
All matches of the Blues will be broadcast live on Rai Sport 1 (hd channel 57 and 557 dgtv); the first sports channel of the state television will offer every day some of the most interesting matches and the entire two days of the Final Four. Live streaming of all matches on www.laola1.tv.
