The return to PalaTrento after 25 days without official matches gives a victory to Diatec Trentino. In front of its fans, the team of Angelo Lorenzetti won 3-0 against Top Volley Latina in the match of the fourth day of regular season, which had been postponed because the Yellow-blue team was in Brazil.
Although the players were tired due to the long intercontinental transfer and to the five matches played over the last week, they have proved to have enough strengths and a great personality; this helped to win the first set, where the team had to chase Latina, and to win the other partials easily thanks to a strong service (6 aces) and attack (51% for the team). Nelli (mpv of the match with 18 points, 55% attack, 5 aces and 2 blocks) and Antonov (decisive player in the first set) have given a great performance and therefore, the way to the victory has been very smooth. Latina seemed in difficulty in attack without its best player Fei (some physical problems forced him to stay out) and with too many errors in service and in attack; it postponed its first victory of the season of at least two days.
With this 3-point victory, Diatec Trentino is still undefeated in regular season and comes fifth, 4 points from the first place but with one match still to be played: this is the best way to arrive to the super-match of Saturday evening at PalaTrento against Perugia.
