The day after the victory at the Mediolanum Forum against Revivre Milan, which reclaims ENERGY T.I. “At this point of the season, we didn’t expect to be at the top of the ranking and have already played the final of the Italian Cup. We are happy with the developments of our championship; for once we didn’t start with forecasts’ favoritisms, but we have actually shown that we can be among the first teams. The ENERGY T.I. Diatec Trentino is a group with a strong identity because the team is made up of players who have played in this Company for many years, such as Kaziyski, Zygadlo, Colaci and me, or others who grew up in the young sector and now they play for the first team. All of us feel a strong attachment to the colors of this shirt and to the Company: nobody thinks that the current year is a year of transition. Yesterday at the Forum we played a particular match; we were able to win without major problems in front of nearly four thousand spectators, who have confirmed how Milan always loves the great volleyball. I know this very well, because I played there several matches for the national team”.
The captain later spoke about two young yellow-blue players, who are standing out in Super League. “Gabriele Nelli is an opposite yet inexperienced, because he has changed roles for a couple of years, therefore he’ll have the chance to improve himself; he is a great natural talent – he added – . For example, in Vertek’s test he reaches over 3,70 meters. He needs to play as a starter to be able to grow more. Simone Giannelli is younger than Nelli, but he is a very good boy, much more mature than his age. He doesn’t look like an 18-years-old guy and he feels already comfortable in a more experienced group”.
After the day off, which will be on Monday, ENERGY T.I. Diatec Trentino will start training again on February 10th. The match’s approaching program, on February 15th at PalaTrento against Ravenna, expects two trainings a day, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and one session on Thursday afternoon and Saturday.
