In the Play Offs 6 Italian Derby versus Lube just like in 2009, 2012 and 2016

Trentino Diatec and Cucine Lube Civitanova will play another Playoffs 6 against (ph. Trabalza)

It will be an Italian Derby with traditional flavours for Trentino Diatec in the Play Offs 6 of 2018 CEV Champions League. The last enemy placed between Trentino Diatec and the Final Four of Kazan (Russia, 12^th and 13^th May) of the main Continental Tournament, will be in fact Cucine Banca Lube Civitanova, who won the silver medal as Champion of the World.
After the yellow-blues had achieved the qualification on Tuesday night thanks to the 3-0 versus the Frenchs of Chaumont, tonight the team from Marches obtained the same result as well, winning versus the Poles of Belchatow. Thanks to this round matching, SuperLega Italiana is now sure of having at least one representing team in the semi-finals of the competition, just after the remake of Trento-Lube, as already happened in the Play Offs 6 in 2012 and in the semi-finals of 2009 and 2016 as well (in all the cases Trentino Volley managed to qualify to the next turn).
The going match will be played between April 3^rd and 5^th at Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche, the return one will be instead played a week later at BLM Group Arena of Trento between April 10^th and 12^th. For official schedules and playing times it will be necessary to wait for the confirm of both the Clubs, in accordance with CEV and Fox Sports, which will live broadcast both the matches on the tv.
The team which ,in two matches, will obtain the greatest amount of points, will achieve the qualification to the Final Four – just like the SuperLega Championship – 3 points for a 3-0 and 3-1 victory, 2 points for a 3-2 victory and 1 point for a 2-3 defeat. The golden set (a tiebreaker set to be played until 15) will be played only in case of a draw.
