Trentino Volley already certain to take part in the 2018/19 European Cups

Trentino Volley and CEV Competitions: the history goes on

Thanks to the fourth place in the 2017/2018 SuperLega UnipolSai regular season ranking and the elimination of the teams that followed in the rank, Diatec Trentino is already confirmed to be taking part in the European Cups next season. Irrespective of the final result of the Play Off, the placing in regular season and the qualification of the four best teams to the Play Off Semifinals guarantee the participation to the 2019 CEV Cup, in which Trentino Volley will take part if it won’t qualify for the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League; the three places reserved for Italian teams are assigned to the two Play Off final challengers and, following, to the third best ranked at the end of regular season. Therefore, the qualification to the top continental tournament will happen only after qualifying for the Scudetto Final. Today, nevertheless, Yellow-blues are certain to be taking part for the eleventh consecutive years to an international competition.
