Great enthusiasm at Teatro Sociale for 2018/19 Itas Trentino

Tonight at Teatro Sociale more than six-hundreds people have not only figuratively embraced the new roster of Itas Trentino during its first official appearance. The prestigious and historic hall of Trento, full of spectators both in the audience and in the gallery, hosted in fact in the best way possible the vernissage of 2018/19 roster.
The yellow-blues presented themselves to their supporters and to the sponsors, authorities and medias, during an event characterized by moments of entertainment and comedy, as always rocked by the rhythm and the artistic verve of Lucio Gardin. The presenters Francesca Bertoletti, Sara Ravanelli and Gabriele Biancardi have rightly reserved the most-awaited space to the players themselves, with many new faces, the winning choice was in fact the one of giving the protagonists a lot of time during the event. The team will enter the field on Saturday in Perugia wearing the new kit, which has been presented to tonight first the first time as well.
Before the good intentions of the yellow-blue athletes (all of them ready for the new seasons) there have been space for the institutional salute.
“This is my second family, or better: my extended family - explained president Diego Mosna referring to his team and the whole staff - ; we spend a lot of time together and we share joys, sad moments and feelings. Therefore, I want to thanks everyone: sponsors, seasonal ticket owners and supporters, who offer us every year their important support; the hall is a refuge for each of us, a place full of hopes and passions”.
“I’m happy that Trentino Volley is back with Itas in its name, because we link this combination to victories and unforgettable years, which managed to publicise the name of Trento all over the world - said the major of Trento Alessandro Andreatta - . This team is the pride of our city, not only for what it shows on the field but also for what it does outside the field; I’m talking about the great commitment it gives to support a high number of solidarity organizations. This is the sport that our city likes”.
“The Province of Trento considers Trentino Volley as a pride - added the Sport Assessor of the Province of Trento Luca Zeni - . This Club has got us used to stay at the top for a long time, which is a hard undertaking. It is a promotional vehicle of main importance of our territory: it transmits the healthy values and a positive picture of Trentino”.
The words of coach Angelo Lorenzetti were very appreciated as well: “We built this team on an ideas sharing base - he said - . We like this group, everyone rightly expects a lot from it. We don’t have to get run over by what all of this, just as happened at the start of last year. We’re not the strongest but we want to become them”.
The curtain on the new season of Trentino Volley is now open, the field will be the new stage.
