World Cup for Clubs 2018, notes and curiosities after the finalization of the calendar

Some statistics and notes showed after the formalization of the groups and the calendar of the 1st stage of the World Cup.
IN THE POOL B AS IN 2010, 2011, 2014 AND 2016 Trentino Volley will play the first round of the World Cup Club 2018in the Pool B, in which it was also included in the 2010 edition (first place ahead of Drean Bolivar), 2011 (won on the Sesi San Paolo), 2014 (third place behind Al-Rayan and UPCN and subsequent elimination) and 2016 (first place, still ahead of the Bolivar). Instead in the other three previous participations (2009, 2012 and 2013) it was placed in Pool A, a group that only in 2013 the team did not win.
IN RZESZOW, EIGHT YEARS AND A HALF AFTER Trentino Volley will play all the games of the first phase of the tournament in Rzeszow, city of 180,000 inhabitants in south-eastern Poland that the team knows bacause it has already played an official match there on March 9 2010, when Trentino Betclic won 3-1 at Hala Podpromie (the same placa in which will play between 26 and 29 November), the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Asseco Resovia. That success opened the doors for the second consecutive presence in the Final Four of the event, to which the Gialloblù arrived as champions in office and knew how to confirm beating the competition at the Atlas Arena in Lodz. The match against the hosts will be renewed on November 29th (last match of the first phase).
THIRD COMPARISON AGAINST AN IRANIAN TEAM On November 26, on the day of the debut in the event, Trentino Volley will challenge for the third time in its history an Iranian team. Before the match against Khatami Ardakan (winner of the Asian Champions League), the club in via Trener had already faced Paykan Teheran in two circumstances, winning in both cases for 3-0: 7 November 2009 and 20 December 2010 (races semifinal)
SEVEN GAMES WON AGAINST SADA Wednesday November 28th Trentino Volley will face again Sada Cruzeiro, the only South American team at the start of the tournament. Recalling the firts two matches already staged in the World Championship 2014 in Doha: 3-2 for Trentino Volley and on 16 October and then 3-0 three days later in the final. The challenge against the Brazilians will be particularly impressive also for the Fivb: the two companies have won the highest number of world titles, even seven (4 for Trento, 3 for the Sada) on the thirteen editions already played.
GOOD FIRST TAKE SIX TIMES In the seven previous Club World Cup participations, the debut was positive six times for Trentino Volley, able to win all the debut matches of this event, except for the 2014 edition (defeat for 0-3 against Al-Rayan): the positive ones are related to the 3-1 at Zamalek in the 2009 edition, 3-0 at Dinamo Moscow in 2010, 3-0 at Al Ahly in 2011, 3-2 at Al-Rayyan in 2012, 3-1 at Kalleh in 2013, 3-0 at Minas Tenis Clube in 2016.
