World Club Cup 2018, Trentino Diatex 3-0 win against the Iranian team Khatam Adakan

Tonight in Rzeszow, the World Club Cup 2018 starts with a brilliant 3-0 victory for Trentino Diatecx against the Iranian team Khatam Ardakan. Thanks to this achievement, Trentino Diatecx moves up to the top of the rankings of Pool B in the first phase and can now be more faithful about the possibility of obtaining the qualification for the semifinals on 1st December. The start of the eighth World Club Cup for our team has been characterised by a continuous and vigilant performance, that has not given the opponents the chance to try and change its game pattern, that has been successful almost from the very beginning: with some successful attacks and servings, Trentino Diatecx managed to turn the tables with the Iranians who seemed to have some attitude at the beginning. The performance of Vettori in the net area, mvp of the match with 16 points and 71% attack efficiency, the precision of the serving (4 aces for Giannelli for a total of 7) and in a more general way the efficiency in the attack area (61% attack efficiency for the team) allowed Trentino Diatecx to break the ice without any concern. This is a good omen for the upcoming match on Wednesday against the Brazilian team Sada Cruzeiro, an inevitable challenge to get to the semifinals.
