Itas Trentino won the recovery match of the tenth round of SuperLega and ranked second

The recovery match of the tenth round of SuperLega Credem Banca 2018/19 provides Itas Trentino the three points it longed for as well as the second place in the rankings. Tonight, the World Champions have made the most of the “home playing” factor (it is the sixth time they win 3-0 out of six matches played in Trento) to win over Revivre Axopower Milano and rank second surpassing Azimut Leo Shoes Modena, which will play in Trento on Sunday evening.
Lorenzetti’s team is about to play the A22 Derby after thirteen consecutive victories between championship, World Club Cup and CEV Cup but also with a very encouraging middle-week performance behind them. The clear win against Milano was the result of match without considerable mistakes but filled by competitiveness, an ingredient that allowed the team to be effective immediately, winning easily the first two sets and not allowing the opponents to recover during the last phase of the third set.
The best couple is once again the one of the area 4, Kovacevic (12 points with 57% attack efficiency, three blocks and one ace: once again MVP) and Russel (11 points with 47%), helped by Lisinac (69% in the first set) and Vettori (9 points with 57% attack efficiency) and by Candellaro’s blocks (4 out of 11). In addition, also Giannelli’s performance was remarkable, he hid his game to the opponents very cleverly (scored with just two blocks) but was skilled also by serving and defending.

Here is the chart for the tenth day of regular season of SuperLega Credem Banca 2018/19 played tonight at the BLM Group Arena of Trento.
