A successful beginning at BLM Group Arena: only one set lost in 9 matches

The 3-0 victory of Saturday against Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora - last match of the year 2018 - allowed Its Trentino to get closer to the first position of SuperLega and to confirm its amazing performance.
During the first nine matches, the yellow-blue team have in fact lost just one set (the first one during the match against Modena on the last 16th December), winning eight times 3-0 in the championship and in the CEV Cup. This is absolutely the best beginning of regular season during eighteen years of Trentino Volley. From this point of view, the previous record was in the 2010/11 regular season (the one when they won the memorable “triplete” and Champions League), where the yellow-blue team lost three set during the first nine matches of championship and Champions League.
Itas Trentino hasn’t lost in eight months at BLM Group Arena (the last defeat on April 12th against Civitanova in the return match of Playoff 6 of Champions League) and, in the year of 2018, the team lost only four times (two times against Lube, one against Perugia and Zaksa) in twenty-five official matches at BLM Group Arena.
These numbers aren’t enough to contrast the arrive of the champions of Italy from Perugia on the next 5th January (the tickets are sold out), but they explain how Giannelli and company can count on more determination in front of their audience.
