Coppa Italia 2019: Trentino Volley already appears three times on the honour roll
Next weekend a very important event will take place: at Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna) will be played the match for the 41st Coppa Italia. This Cup is considered a very special and important trophy, especially because it guarantees the participation in an European Cup (in this case the 2020 CEV Cup) and the presence in the next Final Four of Supercoppa Italiana. To prove it, on the honour roll of the event there are only important teams like Modena, Parma, Treviso, Cuneo, Macerata (now Civitanova), Piacenza, Trento and Perugia, the outgoing champions.
The four teams that will be play the Semifinal have already won this cup; Trentino Volley is looking for its fourth one, which would let them get close to Lube (5 victories) and relive the success of 5 previous seasons (ed. n°35), when they won (3-1) their last Coppa Italia at Mediolanum Forum against the team from Marche.
