Getting closer to the semifinals of 2019 CEV Cup, the move to Greece on Monday morning

Just a few hours off before returning to work, after the success against Kioene Padova on Saturday evening during the 800th match of its history. Trentino Itas will start training again already today in the afternoon at the BLM Group Arena, by carrying out a training session equally divided between technique and weights. This will be the only training to complete before the move to Athens, on Monday morning. By bus until Bologna and then on an airliner that will land in the Greek capital. The one that will end on Wednesday in the morning (coming back to Trento is set for 27th February around 2 pm) will be the third time for Trentino Volley in Greece, it has already played in this country on 2nd December 2009 in Athens on occasion of its first match for its second participation to CEV Champions League, match that it has won 3-2 at the Olympiacos, like the one in Thessaloniki on 18th November 2015 (3-0 victory against Paok).
The first time at Melina Merkouri, the arena where the match will take place (where Trento won 3-0 in 2009) is set for 25th February, on this occasion Giannelli and his teammates will train for approximately ninety minutes.
All in all Trentino Volley has taken part in sixty-eight away game in Europe (out of these, seventeen just in CEV Cup), winning fourty-eight of them. This match against Olympiacos Piraeus will be the 154th international match in Trentino Volley’s history; of these it has won 125 matches and lost 28 times.
