SuperLega, the last but one appointment of regular season at the BLM Group Arena

The twenty-fourth round of regular season of SuperLega Credem Banca 2018/19, the eleventh of the returning round will be played this weekend. Itas Trentino wil take field at the BLM Group Arena facing Ravenna on Sunday, 10th March. The match will start at 6pm: live streaming on Lega Volley Channel at the link www.elevensports.it/superlega.
Here Itas Trentino After having qualified for the Final of 2019 CEV Cup, the World Champions are now focusing on the championship, facing the lust but one home match of this regular season. Lisinac is still out of the roster, taking his time off to cure his left calf, that has given him some problems in the last period, meanwhile Codarin will take his place as a middle hitter in the match against Ravenna, a worthy opponent also in the going match.

Itas Trentino will complete its preparation for the match with some training sessions at the BLM Group Arena today in the afternoon and on Sunday morning. It will be the forty-first official match of the season (34 win and 6 losses), the 804th of its history and it will try to win the 562nd match.
The opponents The match of Sunday in Trento will be Consar Ravenna’s last chance to compete for the Play Off of the championship. Having eight points less than Monza’s eighth place and with just three matches to go, Ravenna needs to obtain all points at the BLM Group Arena to still have the chance to qualify for the quarterfinals. Close to its goal for most of the season, Graziosi’s team lost its pace in the last six matches of the championship, during that time it lost four times, among them the one in Vibo Valentia and the home match against Sora. Although the recent difficulties, Consar has shown some interesting young players all season long, like the middle hitter Russo, the spikers Raffaelli and Lavia (often switched with Poglajen on the diagonal) and above all the outside hitter Rychlicki, real surprise of this SuperLega. The Luxembourgish, that was initially supposed to play in area 4 but moved to play as an opposite hitter to substitute Argenta, has been keeping on playing on the diagonal with the setter Saitta all regular season long, showing a great talent: right now he is the fifth bomber of the tournament with 427 points, on average 5,2 per set, 27 aces and 50% attack efficiency.
PREVIOUS MATCHES The match on Sunday will be the sixteenth between the two teams, that began facing each other with continuity starting only from the season 2011/12. The report is obviously in favor of Itas Trentino for 13-2, but the only two successes of Ravenna are quite recent: on 25th October 2017 for 3-0 at the Pala De Andrè and 3rd February 2016 at the tie break at the BLM Group Arena. In all the other situations Trento won: for 3-1 (three times, including the going match of this regular season, played in Romagna on 9th December 2018 and the last one played on 7th January 2019) and for 3-0 (ten times). Trentino Volley is originally from Ravenna: in May 2000 the President Diego Mosna bought the rights of Serie A1 from Valleverde Porto, that won a championship and three Champions Cups in the 90s.
THE REFEREES The match will be directed by the duo from Veneto, Andrea Puecher (from Padua – in Serie A from 2003 and international from 2013) and Dominga Lot (from San Donà di Piave – Treviso, in Serie A from 2010 and international from 2017). They already directed together Itas Trentino-Sir Safety Conad Perugia for 3-0 on 5th January, at the BLM Group Arena. For Puecher this is the twelfth seasonal direction in SuperLega Credem Banca 2018/19, while for Lot this is the thirteenth match of championship.
RADIO, INTERNET AND TV The match will be told live and exclusively by Radio Dolomiti, network partner of Trentino Volley. The connections with the BLM Group Arena in Trento will be carried out by “Campioni di Sport”, the sport TV show of Radio Dolomiti. The frequencies to listen to the regional network can be consulted on www.radiodolomiti.com, where it will also possible to follow the live report on streaming. There will also be a live on streaming video on “Lega Volley Channel”, on www.elevensports.it/superlega (pay service). On tv the whole pre-recording of the match will be broadcasted at 9.50 p.m. on Monday 11th March on RTTR, tv partner of Itas Trentino. On the internet the updates step by step will be handled by Lega Pallavolo Serie A’s website (www.legavolley.it) and by www.trentinovolley.it and will always be active on Itas Trentino Social Networks (www.trentinovolley.it/facebook and www.trentinovolley.it/twitter).
TICKETS AND MERCHANDISING It is possible to buy the tickets for the match against Ravenna whenever on the Internet, on www.trentinovolley.it/ticketonline. The tickets will also be available on Sunday at the registers of the BLM Group Arena, that will be active starting from 5.00 p.m., when also the gates to the arena will be opened. Inside the arena, behind the long gallery north side, the fans will find at their disposal the Itas Trentino merchandising point; a very wide range of official Trentino Volley products will be on sale.
“ESPERIA DAY” On Sunday at the BLM Group Arena will be celebrated the “Esperia Day”: Esperia  - company sponsor of Itas Trentino that works in the printing industry for more than 50 years – organized a special event to offer an even bigger visibility to the partnership. The arena, the hospitality room and the match program will all be sponsored by Esperia. Also the prize to the best player will be sponsored Esperia, chosen thanks to the votes of the journalists in the press box. It will be handed by Gianni Cainelli – CEO of Esperia.
