Itas Trentino closes its season fighting until the end

The (beautiful) season of Itas Trentino ends at Eurosuole Forum of Civitanova Marche in match 4 of the Semifinal Play Off Scudetto Credem Banca 2019. After the victory achieved on Monday 22 in comeback, the World Champions will not play the playoff match with Cucine Lube in Trento. Cucine Lube once again imposed themselves, this time 3-0, closing the match and gaining the qualification for the sixth Scudetto Final in its history, the third in a row. To Itas Trentino, who fought until the end, it remains the pride of having proudly faced a very strong opponent. This offers an added value to a season that will be remembered for the two international titles won (World Club and CEV Cup) but also for the constant competitiveness showed in every single event. The difficulties in attack and in reception, highlighted already in the first set, did not prevent Giannelli and his companions from giving a hard time to their opponents, taking advantage of the powerful blocks (nine times). Great match also for  Vettori and Russell but a difficult evening in attack for Kovacevic. On the other hand, the Sokolov-Leal-Juantorena trio was excellent in attack.
