Trentino Volley and the 2020 Champions League: 12th consecutive season in European Cups

After winning the 2019 CEV Cup in March (the fourth european title of its history) Trentino Volley will continue on the continental campaign next season challenging the best teams in the CEV Champions League. The second place in the rank of the 2018/19 SuperLega regular season as well as Perugia and Civitanova accessing to the Play Off Scudetto final awarded Trentino Volley with the pass for the most important european championship, the stage on which the Yellow-Blue Club first made its name famous winning three consecutive titles from 2009 to 2011.
The 2020 CEV Champions League will be the 12th consecutive european championship for the team, the 14th overall considering the double presence during season 2004/2005 (Top Team Cup and CEV Cup). Since 2008 (first debut in the Champions League and first title in Prague) Trentino Volley never failed to participate in the club european championships, with eight caps in the Champions League and three in the CEV Cup.
This extraordinary consistency made Trentino Volley famous and welcome in many countries all over Europe, from Spain to Russia, from Turkey to Finland. Wien, Prague, Athen, Moskow, Lubjana, Belgrad and Berlin are only some of the cities where the team played and where the fans always gathered and welcomed the players. The last example of this support was last March at the Burhan Felek Voleybal Salonu in Istanbul, where more than five thousands supporters were sitting in the arena for the 2019 CEV Cup Final.
Overall Trentino Volley played 66 away games in the european championships, with 50 (75,7%) victories.
