Kovacevic: “This has been a great season, the best one since I arrived in Italy”

Uros Kovacevic celebrated its twenty-sixth birthday at home, in Kraljevo.
The left-handed spiker is spending some days off in his home town after having finished his “great season” with Trentino Volley in late April. The yellow-blue spikers won’t join in fact the first phase of the summer season of the Serbian National Team and will therefore have the chance of relaxing for some weeks.
However, before going on holiday, Uros told to Trentino Volley TV’s microphone his thoughts about the balance of his second year in Trento. “I already said this some time ago but I can gladly confirm the same right now: the just ended season has been my best one since I started playing in Italy – he explained - . My target has always been the one of getting better and better, from every point of view, and I think that I’ve grown a lot during the last seven months. I’m proud of what I did together with my team but still team progresses are more important than individual ones. We’ve been determined and tough to beat all season long and the victories of two international trophy can surely confirm this. It’s not everyday a player gets along so well with the other ones; my teammates are friends of mines too. Working every day with them has always been a joy and never a duty”.
“The best moment of the season was probably when we won the World Club Championship, it was so damn electrifying, but there have been more important and unforgettable moments – continued Kovacevic - . However, I’ll have the chance of thinking again about everything I lived during these days off: I really need them because last twelve months have been very intense. What I’d like to say to Trentino Volley’s supporters is to remind that we have a date in October to BLM Group Arena”.
