The Itas Trentino jersey numbers for the 2019/20 season

The jersey numbers for the 2019/2020 season are official now. The regular season will start on Sunday 20th October. The first day we will see the SuperLega Credem Banca regular season, which takes place in Ravenna.

Compared to the last regular season there are only three news, considering that all players decided to keep their old shirts’ number. Miltar Djuric choose again number 12, used in three of the four regular seasons played in Trento; during the one of the fourth Championship (2014/2015) he wore instead number 14, just because number 12 had been already worn by Tiziano Mazzone. Sosa Sierra and Klemen Cebulj have chosen respectively number 16 (worn by a spiker for the first time in Trentino Volley history) and number 18, already worn during the National Championship.
Giannelli is obviously keeping number 9, a shirt with special features: this number has always been worn in the last 19 years of activity for the Club of Trener street; before Simone it has been worn by important people such as Grbic, Nascimento, Sala, Hübner, Bernardi and Lavorato – the first legendary captain.
