Wednesday in Sedico the first official exit for the Itas Trentino: test match with Padova

After thirty-five days of preparation and also a few joint training sessions, it’s time for the first official exit of the season 2019/20 for the Itas Trentino. The occasion will be given from the friendly match with Kione Padova which takes place on Wednesday 25 September starting at 7 pm at PalaRicolt in Sedico (province of Belluno), this is a supportive event called “Tutti in campo per l’Autismo”.
The test match with Kione Padova organized in collaboration with Volleyball Sedico, Province of Belluno, Fipav of Belluno and Treviso and Municipality of Sedico is part of the event created in order to collect funds for Belluno Autism Group, which for years has been working to offer support to autistic subject in their individual growth and maturity. The answer of the local volleyball fans wasn't long in coming: over one thousand one hundred tickets have been sold in a facility that can hold just over a thousand two hundred spectators. At a competitive level, the test match will enable the coach of the Trentino Volley, Angelo Lorenzetti, to verify the condition of the players who have been training during this month; so, the players who will take the field will be the setter Daldello, the opposite hitters Djuric and Vettori, the middle hitter Codarin, the spiker Sosa Sierra and the libero De Angelis, who, also during this occasion, will be supported by the outside hitter Parodi (at work with the group from the beginning of the activity) and by other three members of the Serie A3 future shortlist (the spiker Michieletto, the setter Pizzini and the middle hitter Simoni).
On the other side of the net there will be the Kioene Padova in which, differently from the Trentino Volley, there will be less absent (the spikers Barnes, Ishikawa and Casaro and the libero Danani), so it will then be able to count on the presence of a large part of the first – string sextet: the setter Travica, the Cuban opposite hitter Hernandez, the middle hitters Volpato and Polo and the spiker Randazzo. The Venetians arrives at the match also more physically prepared because they have already competed in three officials exhibition games, in which the obtained two victories for 3-0 (with Thunderbirds Vancouver and Pordenone) and one defeat (for 1-3 with Brescia).
