More and more signs about the team’s growth during the training session with Piacenza

The first of the two unofficial tests of the week in this race reserves important signals to Itas Trentino on the current state of physical and tecnical condition. Waiting to count on Captain Giannelli (from Wednesday at work with the group) and on other four veterans from the European 2019 (Cebulj, Grebennikov, Kovacevic and Lisinac, in Trento from Monday, October 7), the players who did the entire preparation in Piacenza have shown their constant growth, considering also the good work carried out by the technical staff during the first fourty days of activity. Never mind if the afternoon was not successful: 4-1 for the team of Gas Sales Piacenza. Against a line-up in which there were less first team players, and that could count on Stankovic, Cavanna, Berger and Fei, the Gialloblù defended themselves trying to do their best, improving more and more - especially in attack. Thanks to the programmed absence of Vettori (who remained in Trento to work in the weight room), Mitar Djuric could feel good in the field; the Greek opposite hitter scored 9 points with two ace and a block, but the best scorer of Gialloblù was Parodi (20 winning balls -45%- and three blocks). For Codarin (14 balls with 55% in the first half, two blocks and an ace) and Sosa Sierra, still strong in attack (47%). In Piacenza the best scorer was the central hitter Tondo (16 with 5 blocks), but the eternal Fei (14 with 78% to goal) knew how to stand out.
