Parodi in Poland: “A month and a half in contact with a great reality, thank you Trento"

The friendly match won 3-1 on Thursday evening at BLM Group Arena in Trento against Leuvenha ended the trial period for Simone Parodi in Trentino Volley. After a month and a half of preparation with the coach Angelo Lorenzetti and his staff, the Ligurian spiker (ex Cuneo and Lube) greeted the company today to fly to Poland, where some clubs showed a strong interest in the player.
"I am happy with the opportunity that is emerging in these last hours for me in the Polish PlusLiga, because it is one of the most prestigious championships in the world and it would be a honor to live it as a protagonist - explained Parodi to Trentino Volley TV - . I want to thank Trentino Volley for the opportunity he offered me in the last forty-five days to train, and to improve my physical and technical condition. After having experienced so many challenges it was really pleasant to be able to experience this environment in first person, in which the professionalism is very high in every single person: the General Manager, the coach, but also the physiotherapist or all the workers. The month and a half spent in Trento did nothing but confirm the impression I had of this great society. Together with the group I did a very intense preparation, which however did not create particular hitches. At the age of thirty-three I can say that I feel good and have left behind the problems that had previously limited me for two seasons now ”.
