SuperLega Credem Banca 2019/20 plays the fifth round of the regular season

Superleage Credem Banca 2019/20 plays the fifth round of the regular season, the first one played entirely in midweek. The Itas Trentino will be the protagonist of the home match. The World Champions will clash with Gas Sales Piacenza November the 13th at BLM Group Arena. HERE ITAS TRENTINO Four days after the derby of the Adige, the gialloblù team will face with another challenge: a match with an ambitious formation that aim at winning the championship like Verona.
“I except a difficult game like the ones played with Verona- said the coach Angelo Lorenzetti-. The Piacenza team doesn’t make big mistakes and in the long action exalts itself, like the Verona team. We’ve to be very prepared in order to get the victory, because there’ll be pitfalls that required efforts. Obviously, we like the success, but during this period it is also important the way we get it and the ability of accepting our limits and then being able to overcome them. It’s not easy.”
In view of Wednesday's match, the coach from the Marche Region can count on all thirteen members of the squad, who will complete their preparations with an afternoon training session and a finishing session on the morning of the match.
In this circumstance Trentino Volley will take to the field for the 821st official match ever and will hunt for the 574th overall victory, possibly the 301st ever in front of its fans.
THE OPPONENTS The success at the tie break against Vibo Valentia on Sunday evening at PalaBanca gave the first win of the season to Gas Sales Piacenza, a different company from the one that won the 2009 championship in Trento in the past, but that in fact fully took over the legacy. Starting from the A2 Series last season and immediately collecting the promotion in SuperLega, the Club Biancorosso does not hide its important goals that immediately made it clear to have already during the summer in the market. In Emilia, in fact, high-level players have arrived such as the Serbian middle-blockers Krsmanovic and Stankovic, the Italian-Dutch middle hitter Kooy, the middle hitters Berger and Botto, the Argentine setter Cavanna (in Italy already in Ravenna) and especially the opposite spiker Nelli. However, the Tuscan hitter spiker grown up in the Youth Sector of Trentino Volley and given for a season to Gas Sales risks not being among the protagonists of the match as a fresh ex on duty because of a problem with his left knee during the match with Tonno Callipo. Fei, one of the main players in the promotion of last season, should then play in his place. In this championship Piacenza has scored three points, losing at the tie break in Verona and Civitanova and at home against Modena.
THE PREVIOUS After only one season of absence, the last one in which the Emilian team had to get to grips with a restart from the A2 Series immediately filed thanks to the well-deserved promotion, the confrontation between Trento and Piacenza comes back in the cartel in the top Italian league. THE REFEREES The match will be directed by Umberto Zanussi (first referee in Treviso, in top flight since 2006) and Giuseppe Curto (second referee in Gorizia, in Serie A since 2013). The last precedent with Trentino Volley for both dates back curiously to December 29, 2018 (home success 3-0 over Sora).

The BLM Group Arena, the hospitality room, the official program match and the award of the MVP of the match will be branded Karrell, in the hope of living a memorable night also from a sporting point of view.
