SuperLega on the field for the sixth turn of the regular season
It is played on Sunday 17th November the sixth turn of the 2019/20 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season. The Trentino Volley will be the guest of Allianz Milano, that from this season plays at the Allianz Cloud (PalaLido) in Milan. Starting whistle at 6:00 PM: live coverage on Radio Dolomiti and live streaming on Lega Volley Channel at www.elevensports.it.
ITAS TRENTINO Passed the double home turn Verona-Piacenza in which it has collected five of the six available points for its own ranking, the World Champion squad is preparing to square off the third away game of its regular season against another of those opponents that aspire to conquer a prestigious position in the Italian volleyball.
‘’So far, Milan saved a lot of points in the standings in order to aim for one of the first four positions, a placement that, obviously, is a matter of concern for us – underline the Trentino Volley’s coach Angelo Lorenzetti -. It is precisely for this reason that the match that we will play on Sunday, is definitely important, but not decisive. In fact, we should not forget that we are only at the beginning of the Regular Season and that, before winning, we have to play this matches with the right attitude: this is what I would like to see from my team, also in this occasion’’
Trentino Volley shows up to the match, the fifth official during the month of November, complete; the ex Klemen Cebulj is, as always happened until now during this season, on the ballot for a shirt as a starter with Russell and Kovacevic.
Trentino Volley will come down on the field in Lombardy for its 822 official match of its history and will go hunting for the 575 overall victory: currently it has 301 at home and 273 away.
BACK TO PALALIDO, TWELVE YEARS LATER The match will offer to Trentino Volley the occasion for come back and play a match at the PalaLido in Milan (now called Allianz Cloud) a little more than twelve years after the last time. In the memorable arena, completely renovated compared with the past, the previous most recent is the one of the 22nd of October 2007, when Trentino Volley got the better of Sparkling Milano for 3-2. Was that the only match won in the arena, because in the other three matches had arrived only defeats: 1-3 the 11th of January 2003 and the 21st of January 2001 and 0-3 the 9th of December 2001 against Asystel.
THE OPPONENTS The beginning of the regular season was in line with the renovated ambition of the Allianz Milano. Back in this season to play in the Lombard capital, the society of the President Fusaro (born only in 2013, at the fifth consecutive season in the maximum Italian Championship) has collected three victories in only four matches, with its day off during the last day. Everything without counting on the team captain Piano and then, even on his substitute Alletti: both of the middle hitters will be out for a long time due to different physical problems. The new coach Roberto Piazza has offered space to the young Gironi (one spiker that, by necessity, plays also in position 3), by relying than on the qualities of Abdel-Aziz, Petric, Clevenot, Sbertoli and Kozamernik in order to obtain results of great level, as is already the case of the away games in Busto Arsizio, Perugia and Monza where the team has always collected the success for 3-0. The only defeat so far suffered is happened inside the (new) walls of the Allianz Cloud during the only match played in Milan (0-3 with Civitanova).
THE PREVIOUS It will be written the 11th chapter of the confront between Trentino Volley and Power Volley Milan on Sunday. The outcome is 9-1 in favour of the gialloblù team, the only one victory for the Power Volley Milan has been on 15th October 2017 (2-3 thanks to Abdel-Aziz mvp with 28 points). The home match of Revivre will take place at the PalaLido in Milan for the first time, while the 3 previous matches has been played at the PalaYamamay in Busto Arsizio. The winner has always been the gialloblù team: 3th March 2019 for 3-1, 5th February 2017 for 3-0 and 30th December 2017 for 3-2. The other away games had been played February 8, 2015 at the Forum in Assago and December 5, 2015 at the PalaBorsani in Castellanza. Trentino Volley had already faced two other Milanese teams in its previous fifteen seasons of top flight: Asystel, in six circumstances, between year 2000 and 2003 and Sparkling, on two occasions, between year 2007 and 2008. In the calculation that takes into account all the games against Milanese teams there is Trento in clear advantage: twelve victories against the six Lombard.
THE REFEREES The match will be lead by the couple Andrea Puecher (first referee in Paduea Serie A since 2003 and international since 2013) and Dominga Lot (second of Santa Lucia di Piave - Treviso, of category since 2010 and international since 2017). The last previous one with Trentino Volley for Puecher (at the second direction of the season in SuperLega) dates back to March 10th (Trento-Ravenna 3-0), whereas for Lot (at the fourth game of this championship) the most recent match with the Trentino Volley concerns the Play Off 2019 semi-final game 3 (home win with Civitanova 3-2).

Connections with Milan will be made within "Dolomiti Sport Show", the new sports facility of the station in via Missioni Africane.
