Giannelli: "We want to compete again"

The day after the 1-3 defeat in Modena in the A22 derby, the team has gone back to training at the BLM Group Arena with individual sessions of weights and technique, which have mostly involved the unused players during the match in Modena. The next event of the regular season SuperLega Credem Banca 2019/20 is scheduled for Wednesday November 27th in Cisterna di Latina.
"We want to go back to competing immediately, to put behind us the two defeats of last week and above all to move up our ranking - said the Itas Trentino captain Simone Giannelli today - We will have to play a great game in terms of mentality, which is the factor that makes the difference in a league where any team knows how to play excellent volleyball. Latina has already been able to cause difficulties to Modena and Perugia. We’ll need humility and focus".
"Defeats can be useful if they can teach us something – continued - From this point of view the last two matches have told us so much in different ways. In my opinion, in Modena we played well we didn't manage to reach the tie break. Last Wednesday against Padova, instead, we were not able to gains the match. We would have managed to do at the tie break considering the come back performed in the fourth set. The championship has began since one month, we have played many games but actually we have been together for a short time and we have plenty of room for improvement. The effort doesn’t scare us."
