Itas Trentino-Consar Ravenna 3-1, the match report

Report of the match. Lorenzetti decides again to put Klemen Cebulj in attack together with Russel rather than Kovacevic. In the rest of the starting six, there are Giannelli as setter, Lisinac and Candellaro as middle-blocker and Grebennikov as libero. Consar Ravenna has to do without Lavia then replies with Saitta as setter, Vernon-Evans as opposite, Cavuto and Ter Horst as spikers, Grozdanov and Cortesia as middle-blockers, Kovacic as libero. The two teams immediately do their best performing a break (1-3) and a counter break (4-3) before the block of Vernon-Evans on Cebulj changes the situation in favour of the guests (7-9). The tie arrives at fifteen points with a Candellaro’s block on the Canadian spiker but right after Ter Horst scores a couple of points (15-17) forcing Lorenzetti to stop the game. When the match restarted, however, Itas Trentino cannot stand up to the opponents (19-22 and 20-24). On the second occasion, Consar closes the set at 21-25 with a Cavuto’s attack.
In the second set Kovacevic remains on the field (already used in the last part of the previous set instead of Cebulj), but also in this case the beginning is not easy, so much so that Lorenzetti is forced to call time out on 5-7. Vettori then takes charge of the situation; with an attack and three serves (including two aces) takes the team to the lead (10-7). Itas Trentino benefits from this (13-10 and then 17-15). After the Kovacevic’s mistake on the net, Ravenna scores with an ace by Ter Horst (19-20) but this time Giannelli and his mates don't give up and with Cebulj they arrive at 24-23.
Itas Trentino starts in a great way the third set, pushed forward (6-3 and 8-5) by Kovacevic (attack) and Lisinac (serving). Yellow-blue The partial final is in absolute control (22-16) and also highlights Candellaro's skills, which help the team to reach 2-1 (25-19).
The match is balanced again at the start of the fourth set, with the two teams taking turns to command the score (4-5 and 7-6). Ravenna has a notable starting point on 8-10 thanks to Ter Horst (10-13). Itas Trentino still reacts Vettori and through two consecutive mistakes it finds a promising advantage (17-15). The team is increasingly confident and fly towards 3-1 with Kovacevic (22-19); success already comes on 25-21 (block of Vettori).
