Belgrade, Uros Kovacevic awarded as best Serbian player of 2019

Taking advantage of the presence of all the players of the national team in Belgrade, the Serbian Volleyball Federation celebrated its champions on Saturday, December 28th during the annual gala evening. One of the awards presented for the twelve months of activity that will be archived in a few days, also one that concerns an athlete from Trentino Volleyball.
Itas Trentino's Itas hitter spiker Uros Kovacevic was in fact awarded as Serbian player of 2019, a magnificent year in which he won the CEV Cup with the gialloblù jersey and the European Championship with the selection of his country, resulting in both cases as mvp. The evening was attended by some of the country's top officials, the President of the CEV Boricic but also teammate Srecko Lisinac, with whom Kovacevic has already returned to train in view of the Olympic qualifying tournament, scheduled from 5 to 10 January in Berlin.
